Description: The students enrolled to the first year of Science and Technology of the Materials will have the opportunity to obtain a Dual Degree based on the agreement between the University of Rome Tor Vergata, department of Physics and the Technical University of Applied Sciences of Wildau.

At the end of the programme the students will obtain:

  • the Master of Science degree in Science and Technology of the Materials, awarded by the University of Rome Tor Vergata
  • the Master of Engineering degree in Photonics awarded by the Technical University of Applied Sciences of Wildau

Structure of the programme: During the Master scheme, the students shall study at their home institution in the second semester of the first academic year and in the fourth semester when the students work on their Master thesis either at the Home or the Host university or at both of them.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates who want to join this programme must be officially enrolled in a Master programme at their home institution and they must have completed at least 18 ECTS at their home institution before they attend the courses at the host institution.

Dual Degree students shall pay all required tuition and educational fees to the Home institution. No fees for studies are paid to the Host institution.

The thesis of the students participating to the programme must be presented at both institutions.

Selection and access: The students willing to take part to the Dual Degree Programme must apply for the specific call issued by the Department of reference.
