Students developed a project for vineyards enhancement
MA students in Computer Engineering Michele Coppola, Andrea Di Lonardo, Luca Fanelli, Giulio Montenero and Luca Paoli (tutored by Vincenzo Grassi) won the National Award of SCORE-it - the Italian Student COntest in softwaRe Engineering - with their project ‘Liber: Agile Development of a System to Value, Monitor and Take Care of Vineyards’.
The competition targets students of Italian Universities (both Bachelor’s and Master Degrees) and was held in Florence as part of the prestigious International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2015).
The Italian Student Contest in Software Engineering (SCORE-it) is a new Italian initiative inspired by the international contest SCORE and is intended to emphasise the study and application of Software Engineering fields. It hence counterbalances a narrower vision reducing the efforts of software development processes to mere code production.
