Procedures for Marco Polo Project Chinese Students
After the admission test ,if provided, you will have to complete the registration procedure at the link: delphi.uniroma2.it following the instruction reported here below
a. Access the website: delphi.uniroma2.it;
b. Select “Enrollment”
c. Select “Start application procedures”
d. Carefully read the information about your data protection and confirm that you have done it to proceed
e. Fill in the two “Registration Personal Information” section
f. Select the Course you have been admitted to
g. Enter your high-school diploma/bachelor’s degree title
h. Select “Print”: the system will release the registration application with the list of documents to upload
i. Keep care the CTRL and the FISCAL CODE that the system automatically generates; j. Select in the Student Area, Button 2 – Enrollment “point "b" You have already filled in the application k. Enter your Fiscal Code and CTRL
l. Upload the documents required for the enrollment. It is necessary to upload ONE pdf file for each document
m. Wait for the International Students Office’s response: the Office has to verify the documentation you uploaded to enable you to enroll. If all your documents are regular and nothing is missing, you will receive an email with the instructions to pay the first installment and to validate the payment.
n. The payment validation will allow you to get your matricola, needed to access the online classes.

When the Italian Embassy/Consulate in your country finally issue your Study Visa, you can enter Italy. From the day of your entry, you have eight days to request to the QUESTURA the residence permit by filling out the appropriate kit. If you have problems in filling out the residence permit request you can contact the Welcome Office.
You will then have to reach the International Students Office (Via Cracovia n. 50 - Building D - ground floor ) and submit, for the necessary verifications, the originals of the documents you have uploaded on Delphi (point L) and the request for the residence permit.
In case of any irregularity in the submitted documentation, the duty officers will automatically cancel the enrollment.
Take good care of those data since you will need it to access the on-line services of the University.
• A true copy of the final title obtained after at least 12 years of education, with official translation in Italian and validated by the Italian competent authorities in the Country of the educational system attended.
• Original of the Declaration of Value in original of the final high-school title issued by the Italian Diplomatic Representation or a Statement of Comparability* issued by the CIMEA
Please Note: when submitting a Declaration of Value, Tor Vergata University of Rome reserves the right to request additional documentation.
*The Statement of Comparability, it is meant the index of the level of the foreign title with reference to the Bologna Process and to the levels of the EQF (European Qualifications Framework). This comparison does not establish the formal recognition of the foreign qualification within the Italian system nor by the Tor Vergata University of Rome, but it is a useful indication of evaluation of the qualification for the purposes of access to higher education courses.
Tor Vergata University of Rome has stipulated, with the CIMEA, an agreement for the issuing of the certificate of comparability of the final foreign school diploma and the final foreign university title. You can access this service by consulting the website of CIMEA connecting directly to the link dedicated to the Tor Vergata University of Rome.
NB: For this academic year, to the students who did not obtain a degree, it will be issued a Declaration of Value only if a score of at least 400/750 is obtained at the Gao Kao, according to the regulation extablished by the Italian diplomatic authorities in China. For students from Hong Kong and Macao, not subject to the Gao Kao exam, the documentation has to be provided to the Italian competent authorities, which, once verified the validity, will issue the Declaration of Value.
• True Copy of the academic title obtained in a University or post-secondary title obtained in a Non-University institution which allows, in your Country, to continue your studies in an academic institution; accompained by the Statement of Comparability issued by the CIMEA which allows the enrollment in a Master of Science / Art in Italy.
• Or True Copy of the academic title obtained in a University or post-secondary title obtained in a Non-University institution which allows, in your Country, to continue your studies in an academic institution; such title equipped with official translation in Italian and validated by the Italian competent authorities in the Country of the educational system attended. This validation is not necessary if the certification presents the “Aja Apostille”; accompained by the original of the Declaration of Value of the final title issued by the Italian competent authorities for the territory.
The official foreign qualification must correspond to the first cycle according to the qualifications framework of the Bologna Process and to level 6 according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) obtained at a higher education institution that allows the continuation of studies at academic institutions at the next level (second cycle of the Bologna Process/EQF level 7) and that does not present any "substantial difference" according to the principles of the Lisbon Convention and the national methodology adopted by CIMEA.
Please Note: Tor Vergata University of Rome mandatorily requires the CIMEA Statement of Comparability even when providing the Declaration of Value.
• Transcript issued by the competent University which states the exams passed with official translation in Italian and validated by Italian competent authorities; as well as, for each subject, the description of the programs attended to obtained the mentioned title.
• Copy of the Residence Permit or 2 copies of the receipt of stay permission request.
• Copy of the Fiscal Code.
• 3 passport size photos
• Copy of the certification issued by the Center where you have taken the Italian language course, certifying the Italian language knowledge at least than level B1
• Copy of the pre-enrollment
• Copy of the passport pages with your personal data and visa
• Documentation (translated and validated by the Italian diplomatic or consular representations with currency in Euros) attesting the earnings and holdings abroad issued by the competent authorities of the Country where they are generated.
• Copy of the admission letter, where provided.
:: Warning ::
All those students who will not pass the admission test or those who do not obtain a reassignment (although the admission test is passed), need to leave Italy at the latest within the expiry date of their visa or residence permit, unless they do not hold another title that allows them to stay after that given date.
