Requirements for admission
A PhD degree is required for the position. Candidate must have completed his/her PhD no earlier than 3 years before the start of the programme. Thus, the PhD must have been completed on or after 1 September, 2019 (date of the doctoral degree certificate).
Value of the grant
The grant amounts to € 25.613,00 per year - gross of legal withholding taxes to be paid by the recipient and the insurance premium, which will be charged entirely to the first instalment. The grant is paid in twelve deferred monthly instalments.
Social security and Insurance coverage
The fixed-term contract covers social security and health insurance according to the Italian civil service remuneration system. The University provides insurance cover for accidents and third party liability to grant holders in the performance of their activities.
Selection process
A physical or on-line interview with an Evaluation Commission representing Tor Vergata University will be necessary to confirm the skills and qualifications required for the position.
Programme structure
The Department, where the candidate will be collaborating, can involve him/her in teaching activities only with a maximum of 60 hours per academic year, as long as the teaching activity does not interfere with the research project commitment.
