Description and Educational Objectives
Graduates of the Master's Degree in Management Engineering receive training that enables them to enter the job market in positions of responsibility, contributing to decision-making processes related to design, technical-operations, and economic-management in companies and organizations. In particular, graduates of Management Engineering:
- Have knowledge of theoretical and applied aspects of mathematics and other basic sciences.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of theoretical-scientific aspects of engineering in general, with a specific focus on management engineering. They can apply this knowledge to identify, formulate, and solve complex problems requiring an interdisciplinary approach.
- Receive interdisciplinary training, encompassing technological, economic, and managerial aspects, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of business dynamics.
- Are able to make strategic and technical-operational decisions that impact the competitiveness of companies and organizations, leveraging both technical expertise and transversal skills.
- Are in charge of using quantitative tools and engineering methodologies to develop solutions for technological, industrial, managerial, and organizational challenges, aiming for higher efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement in business performance and throughout the value chain.
- Are capable of designing, planning, managing, and optimizing complex and/or innovative systems, processes, and services.
- Have a solid foundation in professional ethics.
