The research fellowship is aimed at the development of advanced methodologies for the decarbonisation of industrial processes, with particular emphasis on waste heat recovery and valorisation systems. The activity will focus on the energy analysis of energy-intensive industrial plants and on the definition of integrated strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the implementation of thermal recovery technologies, energy storage systems, and renewable energy sources. The research will involve the development of mathematical and computational models for the dynamic simulation of thermal and energy flows, enabling the assessment of system performance under variable operating conditions
