Dear students,
Starting from the first semester of the academic year 2020-2021, in compliance with the safety protocols aimed at safeguarding and protecting the health of all components of the university community, and as indicated by the Guidelines of the University on the website infostudentsicovid.uniroma2.it, the teaching activity will take place in mixed mode, i.e. in presence with simultaneous live streaming (online), guaranteeing priority for activities in the presence of new freshmen.
All students are invited to read the information about the prevention and the emergency behaviours at the University related to the COVID 19 emergency and to access their Delphi page in order to mandatory sign the self-certification Form A. Without the signature of the self-certification Form A it will not be possible for the students to use the Delphi services.
It should be noted that at the link infostudenticovid.uniroma2.it it is possible to consult the "Protocol about the management of the confirmed and suspected cases of Covid-19 in the university classrooms" published by the Ministry of Education.
Students with disabilities and DSA who need a support to attend the lessons in attendance can contact the dedicated desk: "CARIS Secretariat" via del Politecnico n. 1;

Lessons in presence
The University provides students with an App for the daily reservations of the lessons in presence dedicated to freshmen. The booking system will be available from Saturday, September 19th and will only be available to students with the matricola number and password issued by the Delphi system at the moment of the enrolment; the methods and instructions will be published on infostudenticovid.uniroma2.it .
The reservation is available starting from 4 days earlier than the date of the lesson the student wants to attend until the day before the lesson or until all the seats are taken. Provided that the University will still guarantee to all the possibility to participate remotely. At the same time, the online booking also implies, from the student, the mandatory signing of the self-certification about the state of health and the respect of the rules established by the safety protocols as per format Form A available at infostudenticovid.uniroma2.it.
At the beginning of the lesson, teachers will take the attendances in order to track those who actually passed through the classroom.
Exams
The exams can be carried out in person, ensuring the distancing rules and the use of PPE, without prejudice to the possibility of carrying out the same at a distance. The exams can also be held remotely (online), according to the assessment of the teacher.
Graduation Session
The final tests for the attainment of the qualifications will take place in presence. A maximum of two accompanying persons for each student will be allowed, guaranteeing safety distance and any other safety measure in relation to the number of undergraduates. The evaluation of these measures will be carried out by the Director of the Faculty.
Health safety measures
The presence in the University’s areas is allowed only by following the rules that students are required to respect under their personal responsibility, for the individual and collective safety:
1- wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use the special dispensers of hand sanitizers;
2- if you have symptoms of fever (over 37.5 °), cough, breathing difficulties or other symptoms such as myalgia, ageusia (lack of taste) and anosmia (loss of smell), you must stay at home and immediately contact your doctor (or the Care Service) or, in case of severe symptoms the emergency phone number 118;
3- maintain the distance of 1 meter at least and avoid crowded environment;
4- in the classrooms, occupy only the seats allowed, marked by the appropriate signs, in order to maintain a distance of at least 1 meter;
5- when you are in the university common areas (classrooms, laboratories, etc.) you must always wear a mask;
6- avoid to shake hands and touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands;
7- respect the information signs (entry and exit routes and those ones for internal movements), in order to implement the most effective measures to prevent gatherings;
8- Sneeze and cough by covering your nose and mouth with the elbow or with disposable tissues.
Immediately inform about any positive case of COVID-19 of those who have had access to the University.
A Covid area will be set in each building on the eventuality that a suspected case (i.e. a subject with a body temperature above 37.5 ° C or symptomatology compatible with Covid-19) is present in the classroom and/or during curricular activities (exams, degrees, ...). The student who finds himself in the situation described will be invited to sit in the covid area and the Covid 19 University Referent Dr. Marco Sciarra, Head of the Prevention and Protection Service must be immediately contacted and he will proceed with further measures for the management of the case. In this case, the suspension of the teaching activities will occur only with the confirmation of the suspected case.
Libraries
The access to the libraries is by reservation, with a special app, in order to guarantee safety and social distancing for a limited number of seats. In the same way, a consulting service of documents is available in the libraries. Opening hours, contact details and any other useful information are available on the websites of each library. A control service will be provided for the management of any gatherings in the reading rooms.
Laboratories and Complex Instruments
The laboratory managers regulate the reorganization of spaces, access to shared laboratories, introducing shifts, different division/allocation of spaces in agreement with the Department Director, in compliance with the indications provided in the University Protocols.
In order to ensure the physical spacing required by regulations, alternative methods must be provided for sample delivery or collection of results, mainly not in person (e.g. results sent by email, sharing of data folders, workstations outside the laboratories to deposit samples). A maximum number of people including the technician who can be present in the laboratory at the same time must be established, in relation to the free surface of the room, the need for movement typical of laboratory work and the instruments present.
For those situations where there are fixed workstations (e.g. fume hoods, etc.) that do not guarantee the respect of distances, it is necessary to introduce an alternation of workstations or different shifts. The maximum number of people who can access simultaneously must be indicated on the door of the laboratory. For further information, please refer to the University Guidelines available at infostudenticovid.uniroma2.it .
Finally, it should be noted that the map of the entry and exit routes and the indication of the temperature control point (Thermo-scanner) are available, for each Faculty / Macroarea, on the website infostudenticovid.uniroma2.it
These indications can change accordingly to the trend of the epidemiological situation.
