PhD Opportunities: MSCA Doctoral Network INTRABRAIN at Tor Vergata University of Rome
Tor Vergata University of Rome is offering two full-time Doctoral Candidate (PhD) positions within the EU-funded MSCA Doctoral Network project INTRABRAIN – “Nanoplatforms and Oncolytic Viruses for Novel Cancer Immunotherapy Strategies” (Grant Agreement No. 101227308).
The positions are based at the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and focus on innovative glioblastoma immunotherapy research. The programme includes international collaborations, secondments abroad, and multidisciplinary training.
The salary follows the official MSCA funding scheme and includes a living allowance and mobility allowance, with a possible additional family allowance.
The DC10 project focuses on developing and validating a nanomedicine-based therapeutic strategy for glioblastoma using nanoparticle-encapsulated adenoviral vectors expressing IL-12.
The research will investigate intranasal delivery methods combined with focused ultrasound (FUS) to improve drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier in preclinical glioblastoma models. T
