Description
In the framework of the “Master Economia della Cultura” – created in 2000-, the InternationalMaster in Economics of Culture: Policy, Government and Management (MaEC) opened in 2008. It organized by the Department of Management and Law, School of Econimics, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.
MaEC puts emphasis on strategic management tools for the promotion of local cultural resources necessary to create conditions for economic development in an international context.
MaEC offers a blended course based on transmission of knowledge and experience targeted at a new social, economic and cultural context. The blended program offers students the flexibility and convenience of online learning combined with a traditional “in person” classroom.
MaEC’s aim is to contribute an innovative model of higher education, leveraging on the best academic traditions yet providing a fresh approach in the faculty with our learning methodologies and program content. Culture as one of the major contributors to economic development, job creation and social cohesion, is the vision that has inspired the MaEC program since its first edition of Italian Master

Admission process:
Candidates must to submit an entry application as indicated by the Call and send by mail all the documents required. When the School receives the application, the Academic Committee carries out a pre-selection based on documents received and lets the candidates know if they are considered suitable to proceed with the admission interview. During the admission interview the Academic Committee will verify curriculum, background and motivation of the candidates. Final selection result is published on the University’s website and it is communicated to the candidate by the mail.
