Presented by the course in Marketing for Digital Innovation
The Marketing for Digital Innovation course held by Prof. Pattuglia at Economia Tor Vergata's Master of Science in Business Administration is proud to present a workshop featuring FAO's World Food Program.
The World Food Forum (WFF) was launched in 2021 by the Youth Committee of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as an independent network of partners.
Hosted with
in FAO, it serves as the premier global platform to actively shape agrifood systems for a better food future, accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through youth action, science and innovation, and investment, WFF brings together young people from around the world to create solutions to some of the most pressing challenges the agrifood system faces today.
The course in Digital Innovation of the MSc in Business Administration will host a series of initiatives in collaboration with the WFF in Tor Vergata University so to engage with students in meaningful discussions about the critical role of youth in transforming agrifood systems.
The University Week is designed to raise awareness on pressing food system issues and encourage students to contribute to developing innovative solutions.
Teachers and students are also welcome to encourage participation in the event. This will help attract more students, who can then ask questions, seek advice, and interact directly with the WFF team.
Students are also invited to the flagship World Food Forum event from October 14th to 18th. This is a great opportunity for them to join an exciting journey, network with global experts, and engage in transformative discussions on food systems.
WFF is also having an open call for student volunteers: a chance for Tor Vergata students to be recruited for these roles.
Through this initiative, WFF and Tor Vergata aim to:
Raise awareness about the World Food Forum's mission and engage our students in impactful conversations about food systems. Inspire and empower students to contribute to global efforts toward sustainability and food security.
Build partnerships WFF-Universities like Tor Vergata to continue these critical discussions in the future.
This would be a great opportunity for our students to engage with real-world issues while enjoying a fun and educational experience.
All of us in Tor Vergata University School of Economics and Management are excited about the possibility of working with the World Food Forum and making a positive impact together.
