Description and Teaching Objectives
The graduate course aims to develop high skilled students in the field of economics, financial markets, quantitative finance, and financial intermediation to work in an international contexts. The program it is also is designed to train students for PhD program in Italy or abroad.
The course has 3 curricula:
1) Financial Intermediation eligible for students that want to specialized in financial services for financial markets. The topic of this curricula are typically focused on asset and risk management. Job opportunities are operational position in Banks, Financial intermediaries, Asset management companies, and PhD program;
2) Financial markets and quantitative finance eligible for students that want to specialized in the field of finance with focus on theories, methodologies, and empirical analysis of financial markets with high qualified job opportunities in Banks, Financial intermediaries, International trade agencies, Central Banks, National and international agencies, Research centres, and international PhD program;
3) Economics and Finance eligible for students that want to specialized in the field of real economy and finance with emphasis on theories and mathematical methods with high skill job opportunities in Export oriented and international companies, International agencies, and PhD program in Italy and abroad;
