Description and Teaching Objectives
Graduates acquire advanced cultural and professional training to operate in care, management, training and research processes with high expertise, as far as relevant healthcare areas are concerned (i.e. as podiatrists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, orthoptists/assistants in ophthalmology, neuro and psychomotricity therapists in developing age, technical operators for education, psychiatric and psychosocial rehabilitation, work therapists, professional educators).
This Degree examines theoretical and applied knowledge to enable mastery of phenomena related to complex, organisational health issues, with particular focus on rehabilitation. This is meant as a test and implementation of operational instruments aimed at specialising in a consistent way with respect to the search of innovative and decisive models. As a matter of fact, nowadays they are crucial in order to meet the population’s requirements and health needs.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can perform highly qualified professions acting as: directors and coordinators within Operational Rehabilitation Units in hospitals and ULSS (i.e. local health units); directors in hospitals and health units; university degree coordinators, teachers and tutors, including specialised classes.
