Women in physics face big hurdles-still

One in five ERC-funded projects “makes scientific breakthrough”

Of a sample of 199 projects funded by the European Research Council, 43 have led to a “major scientific breakthrough”, 99 resulted in a “major scientific advance” and 50 made an “incremental scientific contribution, considering their impact on the economy, society and policymaking.

Pan-European pension fund for scientists leaves the station

E-learning in European Higher Education Institutions

Massive Open Online Courses have incredibly expanded at European universities. An EUA study shows that practically all surveyed higher education institutions have started to embrace e-learning or blended learning, with the advantage of greater flexibility and a better use of resources.

Latin America University Rankings 2016: results announced
