Tor Vergata University of Rome signed an agreement with CLAEH Universidad of Montevideo in Uruguay.
Tor Vergata is now among the first universities in Italy to sign an agreement with a foreign university for the mutual recognition of the doctoral qualification / Doctor of Medicine and Surgery.
The agreement was signed at the end of 2021 between prof. Orazio Schillaci, rector of our university, and prof. Carlos De Cores, rector of the CLAEH Universidad of Montevideo in Uruguay.
The CLAEH Universidad represents one of the best South American universities and the Faculty of Medicine is the flagship of the CLAEH Universidad.
Starting from the academic year 2022/2023 our students enrolled in the sixth year will be able to apply to the study program defined in the double degree and moving to the South American university and the at the same time the Uruguayan students will reach "Tor Vergata" to study in Rome.
At the end of the year, students land the 'double' degree in Medicine and Surgery in Italy and in Uruguay.
