Since 2002 the TTO of University of Rome Tor Vergata has directly patented many inventions come out from its research laboratories offering support services from the beginning of the new invention to the filling and maintenance of the correspondent patent.

All patents related to Tor Vergata researchers and professors can easily be found in ART database using a specific section called “Products Patents and Plant breeders’ rights” (PBR). ART is the database that collects, manages and processes information related to the research activities carried out within the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Knowledgeshare platform is an internet portal created to make available, in a clear and understandable way, information on patents and technologies that represent the excellence of the scientific know-how of the Italian Universities and Research Centers. The goal is to gather research groups and companies in order to make such patents visible and useful for the marketplace. The University of Rome Tor Vergata is part of the initiative as an ordinary member of Netval network.
