Description and Teaching Objectives
This Degree deals with a complexity which nowadays characterises the issue of education. Students are trained basing on two basic requirements: wide-range perspective capability and critical attitude. Such educational structure includes a range of knowledge and expertise regarding the whole of Education Sciences.
The course aims at providing theoretical knowledge and operational skills for high-profile professional employment in the fields of education and training; it is the natural completion of a Bachelor’s Degree. As a matter of fact, its educational offer follows in some respect a form typical of Educational Sciences, but it develops the level of detail and completeness from a qualitative point of view. Goal is providing advanced training in theoretical and experiential terms, particularly with regard to educational processes management and government, rather than plain and simple professional work.
In terms of research, special attention is paid to gender and equal opportunity issues.
Career Opportunities
Graduates are offered employment in educational research, consulting to plan and manage interventions in educational institutions and in all services in the field of education and training.
Such opportunities can be found within public and private institutions; third-sector bodies; direction, guidance, support and control bodies at different levels of Public Administration, including multicultural and intercultural contexts such as the design of research and training activities at a European and international level.
