Descrizione e obiettivi formativi
Il corso offre una formazione di livello specialistico nell'area dell'informazione e della comunicazione, con particolare riferimento ai problemi dell'editoria sia tradizionale che digitale, della testualità (nelle sue differenti forme tecnologiche, nei suoi statuti teorici e nella sua storia), della multimedialità e della comunicazione digitale, della divulgazione tecnica e scientifica.
Il laureato è, inoltre, in grado di comprendere la struttura dei sistemi della comunicazione e dell'informazione in Italia e in Europa, nonché le modalità gestionali e organizzative di imprese editoriali e multimediali, dei musei e delle strutture deputate alla realizzazione di eventi artistici, scientifici e culturali in genere in modo da potersi inserire nelle molteplici realtà lavorative che operano in questi campi.
Per il conseguimento di queste conoscenze e capacità (e, al tempo stesso, per la loro verifica) assumono particolare rilevanza le esperienze di stage e tirocinio obbligatorie per tutti gli studenti.

Gli sbocchi professionali cui il laureato può aspirare si concentrano nel mondo delle ICT (tecnologie dell'informazione e della comunicazione), con particolare riferimento alle professioni del libro, all'editoria tradizionale e online, alla comunicazione giornalistica cartacea e radiotelevisiva, alle attività di addetto stampa, di responsabile della comunicazione e dell'immagine, di gestore di contenuti per siti web, di creatore di eventi sociali, culturali, museali, artistici, cinematografici, teatrali e musicali etc. e delle connesse attività comunicative.

Instrumental Music in the 19th Century. Beethoven, Romantic Lied; Piano and Symphonic Repertory
Title: Communication in the public administration. A conscious relationship. Topic: The course aims to provide students with notions and techniques of public communication. Particular attention will be paid to the issue of relations with citizens and the role that digitization plays in this sector, introducing new codes, modern languages and new platforms for transmitting content. Communication conveys the identity and mission of an administration, builds relationships and networks, transmits information of public interest. The methods of elaboration and development of an institutional communication project will be studied through the analysis of experiences and good practices. The lessons will take place in a frontal and laboratory manner and include moments of common reflection. The aim is to give students the opportunity to approach the topic independently, to develop critical skills and adequate skills in reading and interpreting the phenomenon.
The course aims to offer an overview of all the declinations of political journalism, starting from a historical framework. The analysis of the origins of the first political information on the sheets published between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries will allow us to identify a sort of "consociation" DNA destined to perpetuate itself. It will analyze, in sequence, political information in newspapers, on TV on Social. The delicate relationship with the sources will be analyzed. The one between publishers, directors, journalists and political power. The problem of manipulation and fake news. Some "models" of journalism will be studied, through the work of some protagonists. And in conclusion we will analyze the vices and virtues of the Italian system.
The course will give the theoretical foundations and the operational competences required to analyze cultural and literary resources. It will cover the following issues: - Distant reading and cultural analytics theoretical and methodological rationales - Methods and tools for literary text mining - Stylometry and text comparison - Topic modelling and word embedding - Network analisys - Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence

TITLE: "Virtual museum for cultural and theatrical heritage: case studies, research and experimentation.". The first part focuses on the problem of tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage assetss conservation and cataloging. It analyzes how cultural heritage is safeguarded, valued, displayed and what is the type of communication, perception and usability. The second part starts from the concept and definition of "virtual museum", describing its history worldwide. Different case studies will be examined to understand the creative process, design and creation phases of a virtual museum.
The course provides a historical reconstruction of the ideas developed in time on the brain and its relationship with the cognitive functions (and, in a wider perspective, the body, the organism and its relationships with the environment). The analysis of the historical dimension of cognitive sciences will focus the intersection between culture and specie-specific neurobiology in aesthetic experience.
The course aims to provide students with the tools and knowledge necessary for the production of eBooks in the publishing field. In addition, it intends to provide them with the knowledge and ancillary skills useful for solving problems and autonomously updating what they have learned during the course.
Writers and audience in Italian twentieth century literature. Crossing the history of Italian literature of the twentieth century, the course will focus on some case studies to observe significant innovations and attitudes in the publishing and journalistic fields.

The performative turn in the arts and theatre from the 1960s onwards brought about a profound transformation in the ways of conceiving performances and artistic productions. The shift in focus from the concept of 'artwork' to that of 'event' stimulates new debates on the ontology of performance and on the appropriate ways to document, preserve and transmit its knowledge and experience. The course will first contextualise this process, offering an artistic, historical and disciplinary framing of it. On this basis, the course will then discuss the main junctures that characterise the reflection around the processes of transmission and documentation of performances and art actions. Within the course, exemplary cases and models will be analysed through which these ephemeral events were documented, transmitted and exhibited, determining modes and models of reception.
he Laboratory in Communication and Digital Media offers theoretical and practical skills in digital communication, with particular reference to social networks. The course addresses the issues of dissemination of information contents on social media, highlighting its peculiarities, characteristics and limits, also through specific examples. During the workshop, are promoted "understanding" (models and dynamics) and "know-how" (management and organization tools), in the training environment and through the production of projects shared by students. The covered topics range from fact-checking to the fake news recognition, passing through the Filter-bubble, cognitive biases and echo chamber phenomena, with an in-depth study of digital narration and its effects on the network's ecosystem.

Forms and structures of modern drama and its crisis and the affirmation of the first epic forms of "scenic writing"
Required skills It is necessary to own the basics of general culture, with particular reference to the history of the industry of culture, to be familiar with reading, in any form and content (literary and scientific texts, monographs and periodicals, both on paper and digital). It is required the customary use of the Internet and Web (blog and social media, especially Facebook and Twitter) and , in addition to the basic functions of the softwares, for the management of documents, presentations and database. Aims Acquire the knowledge and the related skills necessary to the organization and fundamental to the workings of the publishing industry. Develop the critical knowledge needed to face with the transition to digital publishing: from changes in production techniques to changing communicating strategies, marketing tools and the distribution of cultural content. Programme The course aims to provide an overview of the Italian and international publishing domain, with particular reference to publishing non-fiction. The scenario on which the course will constantly focus will be that of information and communication for publishing companies, offering some tools for the analysis and a critical reading of the "knowledge society". The publishing market will be analyzed in its fundamental characteristics, starting from the operation of the system of value creation in publishing: areas and types of publications and publishing companies; market goals and construction of the editorial plan, fields of activities, roles and functions of actors in the publishing industry. A particular attention will be devoted to the specific characteristics and potential of digital publishing, analysis of e-commerce platforms to design, publishing and marketing of ebooks and other form (applications, online content, etc..) of digital works.
