Director: Professor Vincenzo Atella
The Centre for Economic and International Studies (CEIS) is an economic research centre at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, established in 1987 and based at the School of Economics. Tor Vergata describes CEIS as an internationally recognised centre for economic research.
CEIS combines economic research, advanced education and engagement with institutions and society. Its mission focuses on high-quality, policy-relevant research addressing economic and social issues and on advanced training in key areas of economics. Its activities include applied and theoretical research, academic and professional training, consultancy and technical assistance for public and private institutions, publications, conferences and seminars.
Research produced within the Centre addresses a broad range of economic and international issues and is disseminated through research papers, reports, journals and scientific events. CEIS also has a long history of collaboration with international institutions, governments, public administrations and businesses, connecting academic research with economic policy and real-world challenges.
