The Interdepartmental Centre for Research and Training (CIFAPPS) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata promotes and supports interdisciplinary activities combining scientific research, higher education and professional training, with a particularly strong connection to the health sciences and the University's School of Medicine and Surgery.
Its activities cover a broad range of areas related to health, prevention, healthcare professions, public health and education. Recent CIFAPPS projects and research initiatives include health promotion and lifestyles, nursing education, physiotherapy and women's health, as well as educational and intergenerational initiatives. This breadth makes CIFAPPS a platform for collaboration among researchers and professionals from different disciplines.
The Centre also supports training, tutoring, orientation and knowledge-transfer activities, including initiatives aimed at university students and healthcare professionals. Recent activities include tutoring projects for health-profession degree programmes, first-aid and conflict-management training, and intergenerational education projects.
