This Degree in ‘Media Science and Technology’ is unique in Italy: it trains multimedia experts for ICT fields possessing both creativity and rigorous basic knowledge in Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics.
The Degree is articulated to allow four different specializations: Computer graphics, photography and digital cinematography, Hypermedia Communication, Interfaces, Science of Sound.
Classes are often held in multimedia teaching laboratories and laboratory activities represent an important training element leading students to develop mathematical, electronic and computer tools for communication and entertainment and to use them creatively to these ends.
Subjects thoroughly deepened in classes include: Mathematical Methods for Computer Graphics, Interfaces and Multimodal Systems, Data Structure and Web Communication, Java Programming and Graphics Management, Operating Systems and Networks, Databases and Web-Based Systems, Digital Cinematography, 3D Design and Modelling, Structured Programming.
Highly qualified external professionals are involved in teaching; this Degree supports internships within selected companies at the forefront of the industry.

Multimedia communication, photography and photo editing, digital cinematography and special effects, videoclips, soundtracks, musical and acoustic signal processing, virtual reality, modelling and animation, 3D rendering, video games, web management, computer and electronic interfaces (PC, mobiles, tablets, etc.), computer networks.
Access to employment is extremely fast and favoured by the strong technical skills acquired by students through this Degree.
