Information on the foundation Course at Tor Vergata University.
The “Foundation Course” is a program, taught in English, and introduced to prepare international students for study at Italian universities, familiarize with the language and provide them with the knowledge for the admission tests.
The Foundation Course is aimed at international students who have completed High school but do not have the minimum 12 years of schooling required to enroll in an Italian University, and/or the qualification required in their country to enroll in a University. The course is also intended for those who wish to improve their background and linguistic skills even if they have the minimum 12 years of schooling.

The course includes Italian language classes as well as preparatory courses from one of the following study areas:
Each class totals of 60 equivalent credits; 20 equivalent credits are for Italian language; 10 equivalent credits are for English language.
